Harold Frye
Seven years of burning the midnight oil will soon pay off for Harold Frye,
department 222. This foreman, who studied at Cleveland Marshall Law School
for four years after three years at Georgetown University, has been notified
he has completed the entire course satisfactorily.
Harold's commencement day June 19, was the high point in his formal
education. Harold started college 22 years ago, but had to abandon his idea
when the depression years made tuition impossible. It was not until 1950 that he resumed his law studies.
Even then, it meant studying a full time schedule evenings and finishing
assignments in nearly every free non-working hour. Harold was willing to give his time to make the goal.
In addition to his studies, Harold was elected Class Vice-President and
Senior Class Representative to the Student Bar Association. He is also
a member of the oldest and largest legal fraternity, Delta Theth Phi.
Right now he has no intention of becoming a full-time lawyer. The study
time that helped him fulfill his ambition will be used for proving he had
learned his lessons well.
