Located marriage record on Marriage index 4th quarter 1845 film #512281 entry as Eastup, James County of Brecknock vol xxvi page 448a.
On 19 Nov 1845, James Eastup, of full age, Bachelor,(mason tenant) of Pistill
parish of Llanfyhangel, father John Eastup,(carpenter), and Elizabeth Prichard, of full age, a spinster, and servant, also of the above village, father William, (farmer), were married in the Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the established church, by Banns, by me, Bay Mansden Cearate(?) in the presence of David Prichard and Joan Morgan.

James Estep being duly Sworn according to law, in the Court of Common Pleas of the county of Columbia, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania doth declare, that he was born in the County of Breckon Wales in the Kingdom of Great Britain whence he emigrated in the year 1856 and now residing in Bloomsburg Columbia County State of Pennsylvania aged forty four years.
And he further declares that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever, all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign prince, potentate, state or soverignty whatever, and particularly to the Queen of Great Britain of who he was before a Subject.

Columbia County, Be it remembered that at a court of Common Pleas, held at
Bloomsburg, for the County of Columbia, the seventh day of September in the
year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight personally
appeared James Estep before the said Court, who upon his solemn oath did
dispose and say, that he is a native of Wales in the Kingdom of Great Britan
now residing in the county of Columbia, aged forty four years, or thereabouts, and that is bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of The United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of Breat Britan of whom he was before a subject.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the
said Court at Bloomsburg, the Seventh day of September in the year of our
Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight.

On August 26, 1872, James Estep appeared in the Court of Common Pleas in and
for the County of Tioga, and filed his declaration of Intention to become a
citizen of the United States of America, and has resided in the State of PA for more than five years, and had filed first intention papers more than two years prior to this date.

Mrs Elizabeth Estep was born in Breckenshire, Wales, August 16, 1822. With
her husband and children she came to this country in 1858 and located in
Bloomsburg, Pa., whence they removed to Fall Brook in 1869. Since the death of her husband in 1908 she has been living with her children, the greater portion of the time with her daughter, Mrs Elizabeth Meredith at Corning at whose home her death occurred.
She was the mother of ten children of whom Mrs. Sarah Jones, of Wellsboro,
Lewis Estep, of Morris Run; William of Antrim; David of Blossburg; Charles of
East Troy, and Mrs Elizabeth Meredith, of Corning, survive. She also leaves
fifty-two grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and one great great
grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the residence of her son, David Estep, in this place at three o'clock on Thursday afternoon, May 30th, Rev W. P. Miller of the Methodist church officiated. Several hymns were sung by Mrs F. H. Carlyle, Mrs. F. H. Stratton Mr D. R. Evans and Thomas H Williams. The burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The following grandchildren and great grandchildren acting as pallbearers: James Estep, William Meredith, Leonard Estep, Francis Estep, Charles Meredith and Leon Estep. The flower bearers were Russle Meredigh, Willie Derby, Clarence and Lewis Estep.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs Eleazer

Leonard Estep & Miss Cunningham of Hall, N Y.
The Headstone was located in the Arbon Cemetary(Oddfellows Cemetary old name)
in Bloosburg, PA on 1 Aug 1992. It reads, James Estep born May 12, 1818 died Aug 3, 1901 and Elizabeth his wife Aug 10, 1826.

9. George Estep-1546

George is probably a twin to Rebecca.

George S. Estep 30 June 1888.

According to Lucille Henderson, grandaughter of Charles Estep, the story goes that George and his wife moved in with James and Elizabeth after they were married. One day Elizabeth got so angry with George that she kicked them out and threw their belongings out the window. They moved into a house that was cold and George got Pneumonia and died.
